Seven Common Mistakes New Blitz of Battle Players Make

Mistakes you need avoid while playing Blitz of Battle Mobile MOBA Game

If you're losing matches in Blitz of Battle and not sure why, you're probably making at least one of these seven mistakes. Every one of them is fixable. Recognising your specific mistake is the first step — correcting even one will immediately improve your win rate in the fast 2v2 arena.

Mistake 1: Splitting Up from Your Teammate

In a 2v2 game, wandering off alone is the single most common way to lose. A solo hero gets caught 2v1 and dies before help can arrive — handing the enemy a free advantage in a match decided in seconds.

The fix: Stay within visual range of your partner throughout the match. Move together, fight together, retreat together. Fighting as a unit turns every engagement into a fair fight and gives you the numbers advantage that 2v2 demands.

Mistake 2: Wasting Your Super

Your Super is your most powerful ability. Beginners burn it constantly — on a target that's nearly dead already, at the very start of a fight when its value is lowest, or simply because it was available.

Real example: You're playing Balec. The enemy carry is at 15% health. You use your Super to finish them — but a basic attack would have done it just as well. Now your Super is on a long cooldown for the next critical fight, and you just gave up your most important resource for zero additional value.

The fix: Treat your Super as a resource spent only to swing a fight that you might otherwise lose. If the kill would happen without it, save it.

Mistake 3: Chasing Kills Instead of Objectives

Kills feel good. They're also only valuable if they let you take something. New players chase a fleeing enemy across the arena while the objective sits uncontested, throwing away the very advantage the kill created.

The fix: Every time you get a kill, immediately ask: what does this let me take? In Action Zone, a kill gives you a window to claim the control zone. In Turret Blast, a kill gives you a window to push the base. Take that window. Don't use it chasing a second kill.

Mistake 4: Ignoring the Timer

With matches under three minutes, the clock is a core tactical resource — yet most beginners ignore it completely.

If you're ahead with 30 seconds left, play safe and let the clock end it. If you're behind with 30 seconds left, force a fight or rush the objective immediately. Playing the same way regardless of the timer turns winnable matches into losses.

The fix: Check the timer at every major decision point. "How much time is left?" should be as natural as "where is the enemy?"

Mistake 5: Spreading Across Too Many Heroes

Trying to play all 11 heroes at once means mastering none. Beginners who constantly switch heroes never learn any kit deeply enough to win under pressure.

The fix: Pick one hero. Learn their abilities, cooldowns, and matchups thoroughly. Play them until it feels automatic, then slowly expand. Mastery of one hero at 80% reliability beats five heroes at 40% reliability in every match.

Mistake 6: Poor Positioning on Fragile Heroes

New players on Marksmen and Mages tend to stand too close to the fight and get deleted before they can contribute. Fragile heroes deal damage from safety — if you're taking damage, you're positioned wrong.

The fix: Stay behind your tank, at the edge of your range. The moment you feel pressure from an enemy melee hero, step back — don't try to fight through it. Your damage works from range. Closing the gap is the enemy's job, not yours.

Mistake 7: Tilting After a Loss

Frustration is the invisible mistake. Playing your next match angry makes you play worse — more aggressive, less patient, less attentive to your teammate. One loss becomes a two-loss streak becomes a five-loss session.

Real tilt scenario: You lose a close match because your teammate made a bad call in the last 20 seconds. You queue immediately, still annoyed. You play recklessly in the opener, die early, your partner is now 1v2, and you lose again faster than the previous match. The tilt loop begins.

The fix: Take a short break after two consecutive losses. Five minutes is enough. Come back calm. Protecting your mental state does more for your ranked climb than grinding through frustration ever will.

Fix Them One at a Time

Don't try to fix all seven at once. Pick the one that sounds most like you, focus on it for a few sessions until it becomes a habit, then move to the next. Steady correction works far faster than trying to overhaul everything in one night.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: What mistakes do new MOBA players make in Blitz of Battle?

The most common are splitting from their teammate, wasting their Super, chasing kills over objectives, ignoring the match timer, spreading across too many heroes, poor positioning on fragile heroes, and tilting after losses.

Q: Why do I keep losing in 2v2 Blitz of Battle?

Usually because of one or two fixable habits — most often playing apart from your teammate or wasting your Super at the wrong moment. Identify the specific mistake and focus on correcting it before moving to others.

Q: Should you chase kills in Blitz of Battle?

Only when the kill gives you an objective window. Chasing a fleeing enemy while the objective sits uncontested throws away the advantage the kill created.

Q: Is ignoring objectives a mistake in Blitz?

Yes. Objectives, not kills, win matches. Kills matter because they open a window to take the objective while the enemy is one hero down.

Q: How do beginners improve fastest in Blitz of Battle?

Fix one mistake at a time — starting with staying close to their teammate — and master a single hero deeply rather than spreading across many. Deliberate, specific correction beats vague effort every time.

Q: How do you stop tilting after a loss in Blitz?

Take a short break after two consecutive losses before queuing again. Name one specific lesson from each loss instead of immediately requeuing angry. Frustration compounds losses.
